Crochet necklaces with blue

When I started to crochet the necklaces it was really easy to make them. By now I hav made even more and it is such a joy to make. This is pure meditation in handcraft terms!

They are easy to make, not a single one is the same, there is a choice of colours to choose from, the combinations of the necklaces worn together is unique as people wear theirs the same way! It is colourful and fun!

Silktie bags for waterbottles

The bags are ideal for water bottle - the shape of the ties is ideal for a long and narrow container. Some of the ties are big enough to make an extra little pocket where you could also keep your wallet, phones or keys.

These bags are made with combination of polyster and silk - silk is too soft for a utility bag meant for water bottles.

Since I made the bag for my mom, I really enjoyed working with the silk ties. I started playing around with the ties and came up with a lot of possibilities..... This is what came out.....

Tie bags

My mom needed a small bag for her cellphone, car keys and money wallet. She is a small little lady which means leather body hugging bags will be too big for her. Not only will it be too big, the strap at her neck will really hurt her.

My solution was to make her a body bag out of silk ties, since my father passed away 2 years ago, all of his ties are still there and this could be a very good way of using them.

I thought it came out very nice....... :)
