Saturday Bake day

It does seem that I am not doing anything new in my craft/needlework at the moment. But...that is not entirely true. I have been busy (still) making clothes and have just cut another set of outfits. This I am making now slowly but surely for the next few weeks. But, as things go in any creative process - some are a lot more successful than others!!  Some of the garments were absolutely disaster and not flattering at all. It seems that my visualization process went 'walk about' on more than one occasion - o, well... The best is that I did not pay for any of the material!

So.....in order to get the creative visualization working again, I have decided to bake a cake every Saturday. I started with the Yuppie Chef ---Easy espresso cake with mocha buttercream--- last Saturday. But I do not have the nice round Yuppie Chef cake tins, so I used a square one and sprinkled chopped peanuts. ⭐️⭐️

And then, there were crumbs......

Leather rope bracelets

These were fun to make but I don't think it is something that I would like to do on a regular basis...mmmm....it's one of those....thought is would be fun to make but it turned out it was less exciting!

Multicoloured glass bracelets

I have found some more glass beads in my bead box!

And since it is spring, it is nice to have some bracelets on your arm as they were covered in winter. They have a tiny little silver bead in between just to give them some sparkle!

Bead page marker

have been so busy making stock to be sold and that in doing so if does seem that I have not been able to create something new.

I have played around with some beads and have made some book markers with beads that I have had. There were only a few and I like the way the book markers have come out! They are mine and I will not make them in other colours.

The beads were originally a gift in the form of a keyring but it looked so strange that I never used it. However, this week I decided to go through my beadbox to see if I can find something new and were very pleased when I discovered them.

I placed them in the books that was published by the Albany Museum on the history of the area starting back in 1815. It was published in the late 1960. We bought the books at our church Fete who got it as a donation.
